Have Fun With It

Have Fun With It

The journey isn't always perfect, but always worth taking.

Good days, bad days. New campaign, new project, new post, new KPI, another way to tell the world about whatever you're building.

The journey is not always rosy. Far from it.

But you can change how you look at it.

Since you can't avoid the work, can't ignore it, and will end up doing it anyway, why not accept it and try to enjoy it? Or at least enjoy what you'll take away from it?

Some will succeed. Some will fail. Some will become another marketing headache that teaches you something you didn't expect to learn. But if you look at your past (personal and professional), you know the difficult stretches raised your level. Especially the failures.

These journeys, whether they're genuinely fun in the moment or feel like another crisis, force you to try new things. You keep going. You experiment. You fail fast. You feed your curiosity whether you meant to or not.

From the sidelines, wouldn't you call that fun?

They may not feel like it at the time. But looking back, you appreciate the difficulty, the grind, the mundane tasks, and you see that you've gotten bigger, better, stronger, faster.

That's pretty fun to see, don't you think?
