Your Views Will Change

You're different. You've changed. You've leveled up. Surprise: you're not the same person you used to be. You've grown. You think differently than you did a month ago, a year ago, five years ago. And that's not a surprise. That's the deal. You've experienced new things, met new people, made choices you hadn't made before. You've learned, adapted, adjusted, and grown into who you are today. Which is different from who you'll be tomorrow. In a year. In five years. Accepting that is what makes you more open to change, and more willing to admit that your views from two years ago might not hold up today. And that's okay. We move through our days, experiment, fail, recalibrate, and keep going. Adjusting views, expectations, and beliefs based on what actually happens. ...I hope. Because how many times have you caught yourself saying "if I'd known this back then..."? You didn't know. But you know it now. And that knowledge shapes how you'll think and act next time. So embrace the pivot. Expect to be proven wrong occasionally. Know that being wrong isn't a failure: it's an update. Level up accordingly.
