Planting Seeds into Something Extraordinary

Planting Seeds into Something Extraordinary

You're brilliant. You have amazing ideas. You can rock and roll like there's no tomorrow.

But others around you can take those ideas, nurture them, and grow them into something you couldn't have reached alone.

Just like you never know which campaign will land or where great copy will come from, you can't predict which seed will grow into a breakthrough, which will evolve into a winning direction, or which will get executed into something that actually moves the needle.

Let go to grow. Share your ideas with the people closest to you, and then some.

Plant the seed. Drop the idea. Let it brew in someone else's mind. Let it pop up when they're watching TV or reading something unrelated. Let them adjust it, reshape it, and sculpt it into something new: something that can be used or planted for more growth.

Sometimes it evolves into something brilliant within a day. Sometimes it takes more time, more context, a better understanding of the constraints, or simply another set of eyes to see it as something else.

Talk to your peers, your employees, your management, your mentors, and your colleagues.

Beautiful things come from that.

You just have to keep planting seeds.
