You Win Some, You Lose Some

You can't win them all, but you can try.
Babe Didrikson Zaharias
Sometimes you get exactly the results you aimed for. Sometimes nothing goes as planned. Sometimes you succeed beyond what you imagined. Sometimes you fail badly and have to claw your way back up. And sometimes you write a post that gets shared and loved, and sometimes it's just garbage with text. (Mine included.) We can't always win, no matter how hard we plan, how much effort we put in, or how carefully we stack the right building blocks. This is life. But we have no choice but to keep trying. Keep pushing. Keep aiming for the moon. Otherwise, what's the point? Knowing the outcome is never guaranteed, we can at least improve the process. Try to enjoy the ride a bit more. Know going in that failure is on the table, and use that awareness to push ourselves to fail fast, get the information we need, and move toward something better rather than just spinning in place. The wins and losses keep coming. The rollercoaster doesn't stop. But none of it is ever the end of the world. Because next time, you might win. That's how the cookie crumbles. So try to win.
