WTF Does Your Startup Actually Do

WTF Does Your Startup Actually Do

With all the tech innovation flying around, you'd think founders would have their pitch dialed. Most don't. The majority of startups still leave you with that "WTF do you actually do?" feeling, and walk away without ever knowing it.

The site looks great. The design pops. The copy flows. And yet, why anyone should actually care? Go figure.

This isn't exclusively a startup problem, but it hits founders hardest. You're running on limited time, limited runway, and limited shots at the right people. If your message doesn't land fast, you're burning all three.

So amid everything your startup demands of you, keep returning to this one question: can you explain what you do to a stranger in an elevator, clearly, in under 30 seconds, and can that stranger then turn around and explain your value to someone else?

That's the ticket.

If the answer is yes, you've done the real work. Your message is clear. Your value travels on its own.
